Inclusive Design

This course examines the key issues framing access and inclusion for children and adults with disabilities, including veterans and those with hidden disabilities. The course explores principles of universal design and reasonable accommodations in housing, education, employment, and healthcare. The process of determining accommodation needs is discussed along with the role of design and technology in enhancing access to the built and digital environments.
