This course explores psychological concerns with significant global consequences that need to be addressed by worldwide mental health policies. Students will study selected disorders in terms of their etiology, symptoms and treatment, their impact on health care policy dealing with mental health, and the ethical concerns surrounding their diagnosis and treatment.
