Catalog Description

This course includes a series of fundamental topics aligned to the New York State school-age care (SAC) credential. The New York State Network for Youth Success administers the New York State SAC Credential, which promotes quality services to children and families by providing specific standards, training, and evaluation for afterschool professionals. Earning the credential is a way to build your skills and ensure eligibility for certain roles in registered and licensed child care programs. By completing this course, you will earn three credits toward your degree, and you will complete the course work for the SAC credential.
