Catalog Description
The course is designed to provide a conceptual and practical knowledge of healthcare finance in a variety of healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on the review and analysis of finance systems, preparation of budgets, financial statements and reports, regulation and cost containment, financial analysis and management of health resources. Attention is given to revenue cycle management and reimbursement across the healthcare continuum.
